DIALOGUE: At the Bus Stop
Peter is alone and wants a girlfriend urgently.
Peter: Hello, excuse me! Are you Sylvia? Mary: No. I’m not. Peter: What time is it, please? Mary: It’s 3:00 pm. Peter: It’s raining! Please share my umbrella! Mary: I’m fine, thanks. Peter: Have an apple! an orange! Mary: No, thanks. Peter: Biscuits? Mary: No, thanks! Peter: A cigarette? Mary: I don’t smoke, thanks! Peter: Have a sandwich! Mary: No, thanks. I’m not hungry! Peter: I think I know you! Mary: Really? I don’t think I know you! Peter: Well, your face is familiar! Mary: Maybe, but your face is not familiar! Peter: What about a drink? Mary: No, thanks! I’m late for my French class! Peter: Où la la! You are so beautiful! Mary: Thanks! Peter: OK! Let’s have a drink tonight! Mary: Er... thanks, but I work at a shop in the evenings. Peter: I can visit you there! Mary: No, please! Peter: Oh, dear! I want to be with you! Mary: You are with me now. Enjoy it! Peter: Yes, but... Mary: Hi, sweetheart. I missed you! John: Hello, my love! What’s up? Who’s this guy? Mary: Er... John, this is Peter. Peter, this is my boyfriend John! John: What’s up, man? Leave my girl alone! Peter: What? Your boyfriend? You have a boyfriend? No, no, not again! What bad luck! John: Fella, I’m going to get you! Peter: No, please! Somebody help me!
